The Bean Thumblatch - Medium is a traditional thumb latch set designed for use on ledge-and-braced and plank doors. The set includes a decorative thumb-shaped lever which, when pressed, operates a thumb bar that passes through the door to lift the latch bar on the opposite side.These thumblatches are hand‑hammered from mild steel using a traditional anvil and fire manufacturing method.
