The Bean Thumblatch - Slim is a traditional thumb-latch set designed for ledge and braced plank doors. It uses a thumb-shaped lever that, when pressed, operates a thumb bar passing through the door to lift the latch bar on the opposite side and allow the door to open.Hammered into shape from mild steel using a traditional anvil and fire method, this slim configuration is typically fitted alongside a T hinge on traditional plank doors.
