The Penny End T Hinge is a traditional T-shaped hinge supplied as a pair, designed for use on plank doors, gates and similar joinery where a T hinge is preferred over a butt hinge. It presents the hinged strap across the face of the door when opened, forming a recognisable 'T' silhouette.These hinges are hammered into shape from mild steel using a traditional anvil and fire method and are supplied with matching stainless steel wood screws. They are commonly used with Suffolk latches and are offered in a choice of Beeswax, Black and Pewter Patina finishes. This listing is for the 15" size.Key Features T-shaped hinge profile when opened. Designed to match Bean thumblatches and D handles. Hammered into shape from mild steel using traditional anvil and fire techniques. Sold in pairs. Supplied with matching stainless steel (SS) wood screws. Suitable for use with Suffolk latches on traditional plank doors. For heavier doors, a pair and a half (three hinges) may be fitted for additional support. Available Options Finishes: Beeswax, Black, Pewter Patina. Size: 15" (fixed for this listing).
