This architectural tubular latch has a 2 1/2-inch case length and a 44mm backset. The backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the spindle centre, making it an important measurement when positioning the lever handle. The latch is suitable for use with 8mm door handle spindles and does not support bolt-through fixing, so this should be considered when selecting accompanying handles.
