Heritage Brass Tudor Unsprung Mortice Door Knobs

The Heritage Brass Tudor Mortice Door Knob is an unsprung knob on rose for internal doors where locking is not required. Made from black iron with a Black Antique finish, it has a classic silhouette and textured surface suited to traditional door schemes.

Choosing the right latch

These mortice knobs are designed to operate a tubular latch rather than a locking mechanism. Because the knob is unsprung, it should be used with a Heavy Duty UK Tubular Latch. When fitting the knob to a new door, the specified matching latch is reference YKAL3-BLK. It can also be considered when replacing an existing door knob, provided a suitable heavy-duty UK tubular latch is already fitted.

The Black Antique finish gives the iron surface a dark, subtly sheened appearance and is the finish offered in this Tudor design. This functional format is intended for rooms and passage doors that do not need to be locked; doors requiring key locking or bathroom privacy need different lock furniture. The knob is covered by a 10-year mechanical warranty.
