Heritage Brass Tudor Colonial Short-Plate Door Handles

The Heritage Brass Tudor Colonial collection comprises lever latch door handles with a compact short backplate and a traditional forged appearance. Made from black iron, the handles have a textured surface and a Black Antique finish that emphasises the character of the Colonial design. They are supplied as a pair for use on internal doors.

Lever latch handles for non-locking doors

These short-plate handles are designed for doors where locking is not required, making them suitable for general passage doors around the home. The lever operates a tubular latch to open and secure the door in its closed position, but it does not provide a key-operated lock or bathroom privacy function.

When replacing an existing lever latch handle, the design can be used with a standard UK tubular latch. For a new door, a separate tubular latch in a size appropriate for the door will also be required. Check the existing latch and door preparation before selecting your hardware.
