Heritage Brass RR4049 Thumbturn & Emergency Release

The Heritage Brass RR4049 combines a thumbturn and emergency release for doors that require bathroom privacy. It is designed for use alongside a lever handle on round rose and a bathroom lock, providing the control needed to operate the lock without using a standard key.

For round-rose bathroom door furniture

This solid-brass fitting is supplied as a pair, with fixing screws and fasteners included. It is intended to coordinate with round-rose lever handles rather than serving as a complete handle or lock set. A suitable bathroom lock is also required; compatible options stated for this model are the YKBL2-AT and YKBL3-AT bathroom locks.

Finish options across the RR4049 range include Antique Brass, Matt Bronze, Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Satin Brass and Satin Nickel. This selection covers warm traditional tones, bright polished surfaces and softer satin finishes, making it easier to coordinate the thumbturn and release with other door furniture. Choose the finish to suit the accompanying lever handles and fittings, while checking that the selected bathroom lock is appropriate for the door and chosen hardware.
