Heritage Brass Bathroom Thumbturn & Emergency Release

The Heritage Brass Thumbturn & Emergency Release is a solid brass bathroom fitting designed for rooms where privacy is required. It is used with a lever handle on round rose and a bathroom lock, allowing the lock to be operated by the thumbturn while providing an emergency release function. The contrasting Matt Bronze and Satin Brass finish gives the fitting a distinctive two-tone appearance.

Choosing compatible bathroom hardware

This fitting operates a bathroom lock and should be selected as part of a coordinated door hardware arrangement. It is intended for use alongside a suitable round-rose lever handle rather than as a standalone door handle. The YKBL2-MB and YKBL3-MB are identified as suitable bathroom lock options for this thumbturn and release.

The fitting has a maximum diameter of 53 mm, while the listed backplate dimension is 8 mm. These measurements are useful when checking the space available on the door and coordinating the fitting with the chosen lever rose. Before ordering the complete arrangement, compare the dimensions and specifications of the lever handle, bathroom lock and thumbturn to ensure that the selected components are appropriate for the door.
