Heritage Brass Square Standard Key Escutcheons

The Heritage Brass BAU1556 standard key escutcheon provides a neat square surround for a traditional keyhole. Made from solid brass, it is intended to cover the keyhole on doors fitted with a mortice lever lock or deadlock, creating a coordinated finish around this functional opening.

Square escutcheons for standard keyholes

Each escutcheon has a 54 x 54mm square backplate. This is a standard key version rather than a profile intended for a cylinder, so the type of lock fitted to the door should be checked before ordering. The escutcheon is a decorative surround and does not include or replace the mortice lock, deadlock or door handle.

Finish options across the range include Antique Brass and Matt Bronze for warmer, darker schemes, alongside Polished Chrome, Satin Brass and Satin Nickel. This selection makes it possible to coordinate the escutcheon with other door furniture, although the chosen finish should be checked against the individual product option.

Each box contains one key escutcheon together with its fixing screws and fasteners. Where a matching escutcheon is required on both faces of a door, order the appropriate quantity for the installation.
