The Heritage Brass RS2000 Standard Key Escutcheon is a round, solid-brass cover for the keyhole on doors fitted with mortice lever locks or deadlocks. Manufactured or supplied by M Marcus, it provides a coordinated finishing detail around the keyhole and can be matched with other door hardware in a suitable finish.
Size, purpose and finish options
This escutcheon has a maximum diameter of 53mm. It is a decorative cover rather than a locking component, so the appropriate mortice lever lock or deadlock is required separately as part of the door arrangement. Each escutcheon is supplied with its fixing screws and fasteners.
Finish options across the RS2000 range include warm tones such as Antique Brass, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, alongside cooler Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel and Satin Nickel. Matt Bronze is also offered, including a Matt Bronze and Satin Brass combination. This selection makes it easier to coordinate the escutcheon with door handles, locks and other visible ironmongery; check the selected option for its specific finish.
