Heritage Brass Standard Round Key Escutcheon in Matt Black

The Heritage Brass standard key escutcheon is a round keyhole cover made from black iron and finished in Matt Black. Its simple circular shape adds a neat decorative surround to the keyhole while coordinating with dark door furniture and other architectural details.

For mortice locks and deadlocks

This escutcheon is designed to cover the keyhole on doors fitted with mortice lever locks or deadlocks. It is a decorative finishing component rather than a locking mechanism, so the appropriate lock and related door furniture will need to be selected separately according to the door’s required function.

The escutcheon has a maximum diameter of 45 mm, making this measurement useful when checking the space available around an existing or planned keyhole. Each box contains one key escutcheon together with the fixing screws and fasteners. As it is supplied individually, two escutcheons may be required if keyhole covers are wanted on both sides of a door. The Matt Black finish gives the black iron a consistent, understated appearance suited to doors where a dark circular keyhole surround is required.
