Heritage Brass Square Bathroom Turn & Release

The Heritage Brass DEC7030 Square Bathroom Turn & Release is a solid brass privacy control designed to operate a bathroom lock. Its square backplate is intended for use alongside a lever handle on square rose, providing a consistent geometric format for bathroom, bedroom or other doors where privacy is required. The thumbturn operates the lock from the room side, while the release allows emergency access from the opposite side.

Bathroom lock and finish options

The backplate measures 54 x 54mm. This turn and release is not a standalone door handle or lock: it should be combined with a suitable lever handle on square rose and a bathroom lock. Compatible bathroom locks identified for this design include the YKBL2N-AT and YKBL3N-AT.

Finish options include warm Antique Brass, Matt Bronze and Satin Brass, together with the cooler appearance of Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel and Satin Nickel. This choice makes it easier to coordinate the privacy control with other door furniture, although the relevant finish should be checked when selecting each item.

Choose this square turn and release for doors fitted with a bathroom lock rather than a standard latch or sash lock. The bathroom lock is required for the thumbturn to provide its intended privacy function.
