Heritage Brass Sophia Short-Plate Door Handles

Heritage Brass Sophia short-plate door handles combine a classic lever silhouette with decorative detailing. Manufactured from solid brass and supplied as a pair, these handles are designed for internal doors and are available in latch and privacy configurations.

Choose between latch and privacy handles

• Lever latch: for internal doors where locking is not required. This version operates with a standard UK tubular latch.
• Privacy: intended for internal doors where privacy is required. This version is also specified for use with a standard UK tubular latch.

When replacing an existing lever handle, the Sophia design can work with a standard UK tubular latch already fitted to the door. For new doors, a suitable tubular latch will need to be purchased separately, with its size selected to suit the door.

Finish choices across the Sophia range cover traditional, warm and cooler metallic tones. Options include Antique Brass, Matt Bronze, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, alongside Polished Chrome, Satin Chrome and Satin Nickel. This selection makes it possible to coordinate the short backplate and lever with other door fittings and surrounding interior details.
