Using the V4040 with a bathroom lock

This fitting is intended to operate a bathroom lock on doors where privacy is required. The thumbturn controls the lock from inside the room, while the external release allows emergency access when necessary. It should be used with a suitable bathroom lock rather than as a standalone locking device. Compatible lock options identified for this fitting include the Heritage Brass YKBL2N-AT and YKBL3N-AT bathroom locks.

The V4040 is available across a varied selection of finishes, making it easier to coordinate with other door furniture. Options include warm Antique Brass, Matt Bronze, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, alongside cooler Polished Chrome, Satin Chrome and Satin Nickel. Choose the finish to suit the accompanying round-rose lever handles and other visible ironmongery on the door.
