Heritage Brass Oval Unsprung Mortice Door Knobs

Heritage Brass Oval Mortice Door Knobs provide a traditional alternative to lever handles for internal doors where locking is not required. The oval profile gives the knob a simple, classic outline suited to both contemporary and heritage-inspired interiors. These knobs are unsprung, so the accompanying latch must provide the appropriate return action.

Choosing the right latch and finish

For a replacement installation, the existing door hardware should include a Heavy Duty UK Tubular Latch suitable for use with an unsprung knob. A tubular latch will also need to be purchased when fitting the knob to a new door; the specified reference for this product is YKAL3-BLK. This is latch-operated door furniture rather than a locking or bathroom privacy configuration.

Finish options across the range include Matt Black, Rustic Dark Bronze and Rustic Pewter. These choices cover dark, warm bronze and pewter-toned appearances, allowing the door knobs to be coordinated with other ironmongery. Finish availability should be checked when selecting the required version. The listed knob is also covered by a 10-year mechanical warranty.
