Heritage Brass Ludlow Door Handles on Backplate

The Heritage Brass Ludlow collection brings together black iron lever door handles on backplate, all presented in a Matt Black finish. The clean, understated lever and traditional plate format can sit comfortably in both heritage and more contemporary interiors. Each handle set is supplied as a pair.

Choose the right Ludlow handle function

• Latch: for internal doors where locking is not required, operating with a standard UK tubular latch.
• Lock: for internal or external doors where locking is required, intended to operate with a standard UK sash lock.
• Bathroom: for internal doors requiring privacy, designed to operate with a standard UK bathroom lock.
• Euro profile: for internal or external doors requiring locking, intended for use with a Euro profile UK sash lock.

When fitting these handles to a new door, the appropriate tubular latch, bathroom lock or sash lock must be purchased separately in a size suited to the door. The product options reference compatible lock and latch sizes of 2 1/2 inches and 3 inches. For replacement projects, match the chosen Ludlow version to the type of mechanism already fitted.

The single Matt Black finish gives the family a consistent appearance across the different functions. Choose between the plain latch plate, conventional lock format, bathroom privacy configuration or Euro profile plate according to how the door needs to operate.
