Choosing Hampstead mortice door knobs
The Hampstead knob is half-sprung and intended to operate with a lightly sprung latch. When replacing an existing door knob, it can work with a standard UK tubular latch. For installation on a new door, a separate tubular latch will also be required. This configuration is intended for ordinary latch-operated doors rather than doors requiring a sash lock or bathroom privacy lock.
Finishes available across the range cover a broad mix of warm and cool tones. Options include Antique Brass, Matt Bronze, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, as well as Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel and Satin Nickel.
