Heritage Brass Plain White Covered Escutcheon

The Heritage Brass Plain White Covered Escutcheon is a decorative door fitting designed to cover a keyhole for a tidy, understated appearance. Crafted from porcelain, it has a plain white finish with a subtle sheen and a minimalist form that can sit neatly alongside other door furniture. The covered format provides a simple way to conceal the keyhole when the cover is in place.

Dimensions and supplied components

The escutcheon has a 63 x 21 mm backplate. These dimensions are useful when checking the space available around the keyhole and its relationship with nearby handles, knobs or other door fittings. Measuring the intended position before ordering will help confirm that the proportions are suitable for the door.

This collection contains the Plain White Porcelain version of the covered escutcheon. One escutcheon is supplied, together with the required fixing screws and fasteners. As an escutcheon is a decorative fitting rather than a locking mechanism, it should be chosen for a door that already has, or will be fitted with, the relevant key-operated lock hardware.
