Heritage Brass Cheswell Long-Plate Door Handles

The Heritage Brass Cheswell collection comprises black iron lever door handles on long backplates, all finished in Matt Black and supplied as pairs. Their clean, understated silhouette suits both contemporary and heritage interiors. Versions are available for doors that require a simple latch, privacy locking or key-operated security.

Choose the right Cheswell handle function

• Latch handles are for internal doors where locking is not required. They operate with a standard UK tubular latch.
• Bathroom handles are intended for internal doors where privacy is required and operate with a standard UK bathroom lock. This version is listed with 57 mm CTC.
• Lever lock handles are designed to operate with a standard UK sash lock on internal or external doors where locking is required.
• Euro profile handles work with a Euro profile UK sash lock and are also suitable for internal or external doors where locking is required. This option is listed with 48 mm CTC.

When fitting these handles to a new door, select the corresponding tubular latch, bathroom lock or sash lock in a size suited to the door and chosen handle version. For replacement projects, check the existing lock type and centres before ordering, particularly when choosing between the standard lock, bathroom and Euro profile plates.
