Heritage Brass Charlston door knobs combine a classic mortice knob with a shaped backplate for internal doors. Crafted from solid brass and supplied as a pair, the collection includes several plate configurations for doors with different latching, locking and privacy requirements.

Choose the correct plate and lock function

The appearance remains coordinated across the family, while the backplate and required door hardware change according to the chosen version:

• Latch: for doors where locking is not required. The half-sprung knobs are designed to operate with a lightly sprung tubular latch.
• Lock: for use with a standard UK sash lock. The spindle-to-keyhole centre-to-centre measurement is 57mm.
• Bathroom: for privacy doors fitted with a standard UK bathroom lock, with 57mm centres between the spindle and lock fixing positions.
• Euro profile: for locking doors fitted with a Euro profile sash lock. This version has a 48mm centre-to-centre measurement.

Finishes available across the Charlston range include warm Antique Brass, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, darker Matt Bronze, and cooler Polished Chrome and Satin Nickel.
