Heritage Brass Oval Bathroom Thumbturn & Release

The Heritage Brass oval thumbturn and release provides a privacy control for bathroom and cloakroom doors. Crafted from solid brass, it has a maximum diameter of 36mm and combines an internal oval turn with an external release, allowing the door to be secured from inside while retaining an emergency release facility outside.

For use with a bathroom bolt

This thumbturn and release is intended to operate a separate bathroom bolt; it is not the bolt itself. It can be used alongside a lever handle on rose or a mortice knob on doors requiring privacy. Suitable bathroom bolt options identified for this fitting are the Heritage Brass YKBDB3-AT and YKBDB4-AT.

A broad selection of finishes is available across the range, making it easier to coordinate the turn and release with other door furniture. Options include warm Antique Brass, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, contemporary Matt Black and Matt Bronze, plus cool-toned Polished Chrome, Satin Chrome, Polished Nickel and Satin Nickel. Choose the finish that matches or complements the associated handle, knob and other ironmongery on the door.
