Heritage Brass Black Iron Letterplates

Heritage Brass Black Iron Letterplates provide a functional opening for receiving post through an entrance door. Made from black iron and finished in Matt Black, the range has a plain, understated appearance suited to doors where dark architectural hardware is required. Two backplate sizes are available, allowing you to compare both the overall dimensions and the letter aperture before choosing.

Compare letterplate sizes

The main differences between these letterplates are the overall backplate dimensions, aperture size and, where stated, the fixing centres:

• 10 x 4 inch letterplate: 265 x 106 mm backplate with a 206 x 46 mm aperture and 244 mm fixing centres.
• 13 1/2 x 3 inch letterplate: 343 x 96 mm backplate with a 235 x 46 mm aperture.

Although the larger version has a longer backplate and wider aperture, both apertures are 46 mm high. Check the available door area, existing cut-out and fixing positions against the stated measurements, particularly when replacing an older letterplate. Each option is supplied as one letterplate with its fixing screws and fasteners. Matt Black is available throughout this black iron family, giving a consistent finish that can be coordinated with other dark door hardware.
