Heritage Brass Hanwood Door Handles on Square Rose

The Heritage Brass Hanwood collection comprises black iron lever door handles set on a square rose. The defined lines of the rose and understated Matt Black finish give the design a contemporary, architectural appearance suited to minimalist and industrial-inspired interiors. These handles are supplied as a pair for internal doors.

Hanwood lever handles for non-locking doors

Hanwood handles are intended for doors where locking is not required. The lever operates a tubular latch, making this configuration suitable for general internal door use where the door simply needs to be held closed and opened by turning the handle.

When replacing an existing lever handle, the Hanwood design can be used with a standard UK tubular latch. For a new door, a separate tubular latch in a size appropriate for the door will also be required. The square rose keeps the fixing plate visually compact compared with a traditional long backplate, while retaining the angular character of the lever.

Matt Black is the finish offered in this family. Its low-sheen appearance complements the black iron construction and clearly defines the handle’s straight edges and square rose. Before ordering, check that a non-locking lever-on-rose format is appropriate for the intended door and that a suitable tubular latch is already fitted or selected separately.
