Heritage Brass Balmoral Mortice Door Knobs on Plate

Heritage Brass Balmoral mortice door knobs combine a classic rounded knob with a coordinated backplate for internal doors. Made from solid brass and supplied as a pair, the range includes different plate configurations for doors that require simple latch operation, privacy or locking.

Choose the right Balmoral door knob configuration

The function of the backplate determines the latch or lock required. For a new door, select the corresponding hardware separately; replacement installations can be matched to the appropriate standard UK lock or latch.

• Latch: for doors where locking is not required. This half-sprung version is intended to work with a lightly sprung tubular latch.
• Lock: for internal doors requiring a standard UK sash lock.
• Bathroom: designed to operate with a bathroom lock where privacy is needed.
• Euro profile: for use with a suitably sized Euro profile sash lock.

Finish options across the range include Antique Brass, Matt Bronze, Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Satin Brass and Satin Nickel. This selection covers warm traditional tones, polished finishes and more understated satin surfaces, allowing the Balmoral design to be coordinated with other door fittings. Check the chosen configuration carefully to ensure its plate format and required lock or latch suit your door.
