Heritage Brass Tudor Ball Mortice Door Knobs

The Heritage Brass Tudor ball mortice door knob is made from robust black iron and mounted on a rose. Its classic rounded silhouette, textured surface and Black Antique finish give it a traditional character suited to heritage and rustic interior schemes. It is designed for internal doors where locking is not required.

Choosing a latch for this unsprung door knob

This Tudor mortice knob is unsprung, meaning that the knob itself does not contain a spring mechanism. When replacing an existing door knob, it can be used with a heavy-duty UK tubular latch. For installation on a new door, the specified tubular latch is reference YKAL3-BLK and will need to be purchased separately.

This is non-locking door furniture rather than a lever lock or bathroom privacy handle. Black Antique is the finish offered in this Tudor knob family, with the textured surface providing a tactile grip as well as a period-style appearance. The knob mechanism is supported by a 10-year mechanical warranty.
