Heritage Brass Aydon Mortice Door Knobs

Heritage Brass Aydon mortice door knobs feature a classic silhouette that can suit heritage and contemporary interiors. Crafted from solid brass, these knobs are mounted on a rose and intended for internal doors where locking is not required.

Aydon finishes and latch requirements

The finish selection includes warm Antique Brass, Matt Bronze, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, together with cooler Polished Chrome. These options allow the Aydon design to be selected in a tone that suits the surrounding door and interior details.

The Aydon door knob is half-sprung and designed to work with a lightly sprung latch. When replacing an existing door knob, it can be used with a standard UK tubular latch. For a new door installation, a tubular latch is also required; the specified reference is YKTL3N-AT. As this is a non-locking mortice knob, choose it for rooms where neither key locking nor bathroom privacy is needed.

A 10-year mechanical warranty applies to the mechanism. Before ordering, check that the chosen latch is appropriate for a half-sprung knob and that the non-locking function suits the intended room.
