From The Anvil Large Rim Locks are traditional surface-mounted locks designed to be fitted to the face of a door, with a matching surface-mounted keep installed on the door frame. This makes them a practical choice where you want a rim lock style without cutting a mortice case into the door edge.

Handed options and finishes

This range is available in left-handed and right-handed versions, so it’s important to choose the correct hand for your door. A left-handed rim lock is used for an inward-opening door that is hinged on the left; a right-handed rim lock is used for an inward-opening door that is hinged on the right.
