From The Anvil Night-Vent Locking Monkeytail Fasteners are traditional-style casement window fasteners with an integrated locking function and a night-vent facility. They are designed for use on weather-stripped casement windows and are supplied with matching screws.

Handed options and night-vent positions

This family is available in left-handed and right-handed versions, so it’s important to choose the correct hand for your window. From the inside looking out, if your window is hinged on the right, a right-handed fastener is required (and vice versa).

The locking mechanism allows the fastener to be locked in the closed position as well as in two open positions to provide secure ventilation. Finish options seen across the range include Beeswax, Black and Pewter Patina; finish availability varies by option.
