From The Anvil Night-Vent Locking Avon Fastener

From The Anvil Night-Vent Locking Avon Fasteners are casement window fasteners designed to secure and ventilate reversible casement windows. The Avon design is a simple, four-sided form created by hand with a series of hammer blows, making it suitable for a wide range of interior styles.

This is a locking fastener with night-venting positions. It provides a lockable closed position and two open positions for controlled airflow, and operates via a grub screw. The reversible design includes two keep plates to suit left- and right-handed windows, and it is stated as suitable for use with weather-stripped windows.
