Choose between 3 inch and 4 inch versions depending on the door size and the proportions you want. For heavier doors, From The Anvil advises fitting a “pair and a half” (three hinges) to provide extra strength. You can also combine these hinges with matching hinge fronts to create a more traditional door appearance.
