Intumescent Kits for Deadlocks (30 & 60 Minutes)

These Frelan Hardware intumescent kits are designed for use with deadlocks, helping to improve fire performance by expanding when exposed to heat. The range covers kits stated for both 30-minute and 60-minute protection, making it easier to match the intumescent protection to the fire rating requirement of the door and lockset.

Choosing the right kit

This collection focuses on a dedicated intumescent solution for deadlocks. The kit is listed with a 1mm thickness and is described as easy to apply, offering a practical way to add intumescent material around the lock area during installation or upgrade work.

• Application: suitable for deadlocks
• Fire protection options: 30 and 60 minutes (depending on the chosen kit)

Where you are selecting other door hardware in the same project, check the required fire rating and ensure the deadlock preparation is compatible with the intumescent kit being specified.
