M.Marcus Architectural Hardware Sliding Door Handles

Shop M. Marcus Architectural Hardware sliding door handles for internal pocket and sliding doors. The range includes round and square flush-pull pairs, pocket-door pull rings and complete privacy-lock sets designed to provide a practical grip without obstructing the door as it moves into its pocket.

Choose from Antique Brass, Matt Black, Matt Bronze, Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Satin Brass, Satin Chrome and Satin Nickel finishes, with coordinated round or square profiles available across selected products.

Low-Profile Handles for Pocket Doors

A conventional projecting lever or knob can prevent a pocket door from retracting fully into its cassette. Recessed flush pulls sit close to the door face, helping the panel travel into the pocket while still providing a defined grip for opening and closing.

Sliding-door hardware must be selected as part of the complete door system. Check the door thickness, cassette clearance, available recess depth and the location of any internal braces, soft-close components or locking mechanism before cutting the door.

Round and Square Flush-Pull Handles

Flush-pull pairs provide a recessed grip on both faces of the door. Round pulls create a softer outline suited to classic and contemporary interiors, while square pulls offer a sharper architectural appearance. Select the shape that coordinates with the surrounding door handles, turns and other visible hardware.

The M. Marcus push-fit flush pulls are designed for prepared recesses and are available for specified door-thickness ranges. Accurate drilling or routing is essential: an oversized recess may not retain the pull securely, while an undersized or shallow recess may prevent it from sitting correctly.

Pocket-Door Pull Rings

A pocket-door pull ring is fitted into the closing edge of the door. When the door has retracted fully into the pocket, the ring can be drawn out to provide the grip needed to retrieve the door. It complements the flush pulls fitted to the door faces.

Selected M. Marcus pull rings are push-fitted into a pre-drilled hole and supplied individually. Check the specified hole diameter, plate diameter, projection and required quantity before preparing the door edge.

Privacy Locks for Sliding Doors

Bathrooms, en suites and other private rooms require more than a pair of plain flush pulls. M. Marcus sliding-door privacy sets combine recessed pulls with a privacy turn, external emergency release and a hook-bolt lock designed to engage with a strike plate in the frame.

Round and square versions are available to coordinate with the chosen pull shape. Selected sets include the hook lock, strike plate, flush pulls with privacy turns, pull ring and associated fixings, but always check the individual box contents before ordering.

Choose the Correct Backset and Door Thickness

The backset is measured from the edge of the sliding door to the centre of the turn or lock mechanism. The range includes selected 40mm and 50mm backset configurations. These are not interchangeable once the door has been prepared, so confirm the lock dimensions and available stile depth first.

Door-thickness compatibility also varies. Selected 40mm-backset sets suit doors approximately 35–52mm thick, while selected 50mm tubular sets suit doors approximately 38–48mm thick. These figures must not be applied to every product; use the range stated on the exact listing.

Planning the Door Preparation

Use the manufacturer's technical drawing to mark the face recesses, edge bore, lock case and strike position. Check that the lock will remain clear of the pocket cassette and that the pulls will not collide with the jamb, architrave or soft-close mechanism.

If fitting handles to an existing pocket door, do not assume the old recess can be reused. Compare the new pull dimensions, backset and fixing method with the existing preparation before enlarging or altering any cut-outs.

Complete Your Sliding-Door Set

Select plain flush pulls for a non-locking sliding door or choose a compatible privacy set where the door needs to lock. If you are unsure which pulls, lock and pull ring are required, contact Door2Door Handles before ordering and we will help you check the complete M. Marcus sliding-door configuration.
