Heritage Brass Cabinet Knobs

Shop Heritage Brass cabinet knobs by M. Marcus, crafted from solid brass for kitchen cupboards, drawers, wardrobes and fitted furniture. From understated round knobs to tactile knurled, hammered and reeded designs, the collection offers traditional and contemporary styles in coordinating Heritage Brass finishes.

This collection is dedicated to compact, predominantly single-fixing cabinet knobs. Longer bar handles, cup pulls and edge-pull cabinet handles are available separately, making it easier to browse the correct type of furniture hardware for your project.

Solid-Brass Cabinet and Cupboard Knobs

Cabinet knobs offer a compact way to open cupboard doors and drawers without introducing the longer horizontal or vertical line of a pull handle. They work well across kitchens, utility rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and freestanding furniture, whether fitted throughout a room or used selectively on smaller cabinet fronts.

Heritage Brass cabinet knobs are available in sizes suitable for everything from small drawers and bedside furniture to kitchen cupboards and larger wardrobe doors. Check the individual dimensions to make sure the knob provides a comfortable grip and looks correctly proportioned against the furniture.

Choose Your Cabinet Knob Style

Round, Disc and Domed Cabinet Knobs

Round and domed knobs provide a familiar, versatile shape that works across both classic and contemporary cabinetry. Flat and stepped disc designs create a cleaner architectural appearance, while spherical, globe and beaded profiles offer a softer, more traditional form.

Knurled, Reeded and Hammered Knobs

Knurled and reeded cabinet knobs introduce tactile detailing that can improve grip while adding texture to plain cabinet fronts. Hammered surfaces create a more handcrafted appearance, making them particularly effective in traditional, industrial and character-led interiors.

Oval, Square and Geometric Knobs

Oval and rectangular knobs provide a defined grip and a useful alternative to conventional round shapes. Square, diamond-cut and other geometric designs bring sharper lines to modern furniture, while decorative roses or backplates add greater presence around the base of the knob.

Check the Knob Diameter, Projection and Base

The quoted size normally refers to the knob's maximum diameter or width, but always confirm this on the individual product page. Also check the projection, which measures how far the knob extends from the cabinet surface, and the diameter or width of any base, rose or backplate.

A larger knob can provide more purchase on a heavy drawer or frequently used cupboard, but it should not overpower a narrow cabinet frame. Make sure there is sufficient finger clearance behind the knob and that adjacent doors, drawers, walls and appliances will not obstruct its movement or your grip.

Single-Fixing Cabinet Knobs

Most cabinet knobs are rear-fixed using one screw inserted through the cupboard door or drawer front. This makes them straightforward to position on new cabinetry and convenient when replacing another single-hole knob. Measure carefully before drilling, especially when fitting multiple knobs that must remain level and evenly spaced.

Confirm that the supplied screw is suitable for the thickness of the cabinet or drawer front. A doubled drawer front may require a longer compatible screw, while a thin panel may need a shorter one. The screw must engage securely without bottoming out or damaging the visible face of the knob.

If replacing a two-hole cabinet handle with a single-fixing knob, the knob or its backplate will not necessarily cover both existing holes. Measure the old hole spacing and the new knob's base before ordering, as filling and refinishing the unused hole may be necessary.

Heritage Brass Cabinet Knob Finishes

Finishes across the range include Antique Brass, Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Polished Chrome, Satin Chrome, Polished Nickel, Satin Nickel, Matt Bronze, Matt Black and Satin Rose Gold. Selected designs are also available in dual finishes or Unlacquered Brass. Availability and care requirements vary, so check the individual product and follow the manufacturer's maintenance guidance.

Coordinate Your Cabinet Furniture

Use matching knobs throughout a room for a consistent look, or combine cabinet knobs on smaller doors with complementary Heritage Brass cabinet handles on wide drawers and tall cupboards. Coordinating door handles and architectural accessories can carry the same finish across the wider interior.
