About the Finish
Our Aged Brass finish is intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas, offering an abundance of charm and character perfect for any period dwelling.
Our Aged Bronze products are manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a durable, matt lacquer to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones.
Our Black finish is a popular choice in traditional settings. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities.
Our refined Matt Black products are forged from a base of solid steel and then baked in a high temperature oven to create a subtle, black patina. This refined finish is extremely versatile, with a distinct contemporary feel that works especially well in modern interiors.
Our Pewter Patina products are forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. Our manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. Our Polished Bronze products are made from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast.
Our Polished Chrome products are made from a base of solid brass coated with a durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. This works best if a cool, clean look is desired.
