The Matt Black finish is applied to a base material of solid steel and then baked in a high temperature oven, resulting in a subtle black patina that emphasises the product’s clean silhouette. This finish is extremely low maintenance and has excellent corrosion resistant properties, making it perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens or externally where damper environmental conditions are expected.
Our Satin Marine Stainless Steel is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. This finish has extremely resilient corrosion resistant properties, exceeding 1000+ hours salt testing. An excellent choice for coastal locations or polluted environments, where a low sheen, matt look is desired. This finish works very well with cool tones.
