Heritage Brass Door Handles on Rose

Shop Heritage Brass door handles on rose by M. Marcus, crafted from solid brass in an extensive choice of contemporary, traditional and statement designs. Compact round and square roses keep the area around the lever clean and uncluttered, while separate matching accessories allow the same handle style to be used on latch, locking and bathroom doors.

Choose from smooth, reeded, knurled, Art Deco and low-profile designs in finishes including Antique Brass, Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Polished Chrome, Satin Chrome, Satin Nickel, Polished Nickel, Matt Bronze and Matt Black.

Solid-Brass Lever Handles on Rose

A lever handle on rose has a compact mounting plate rather than a full-length backplate. This creates a cleaner appearance and gives greater flexibility because any keyhole, bathroom turn or cylinder escutcheon is fitted separately. Many Heritage Brass designs also conceal their fixings behind the rose for a neat, screw-free appearance.

The range includes designs such as Charlbury, Algarve, Roma, Sutton, Phoenix, Bauhaus, Octave, Century, Spectral, Pyramid and Linear Sq. Round roses provide a softer, versatile profile, while square roses introduce sharper geometry for modern and architectural interiors.

Choosing Accessories for Handles on Rose

Latch Doors

For a standard internal door that does not need to lock, pair the handles with a compatible tubular latch. The lever operates the latchbolt to hold the door closed. A latch is normally purchased separately unless the product is offered as part of a complete door pack.

Traditional Key-Locking Doors

For conventional keyed locking, combine the handles with a compatible sashlock and matching key escutcheons. The lever operates the latchbolt, while the key operates the separate deadbolt through the escutcheon below the handle.

Bathroom and Privacy Doors

Bathroom doors normally require a bathroom lock plus a matching turn and emergency release. The handles operate the latchbolt and the turn operates the privacy deadbolt. Choose a round or square turn that coordinates with the handle rose and finish.

Euro-Profile Locking Doors

For Euro-cylinder locking, use the handles with a compatible Euro-profile sashlock, cylinder and matching Euro escutcheons. Check the door thickness and cylinder length as well as the lock dimensions before ordering.

Round Rose or Square Rose?

The difference is primarily visual. Round roses have a softer outline that works across both classic and contemporary schemes. Square roses create a more geometric, architectural appearance and pair naturally with straight-edged levers and modern doors.

Check the rose diameter or width, projection, lever length and overall projection on the individual product page. These measurements are especially important where the handle must clear decorative mouldings, glazed panels or the door frame.

Selecting the Correct Latch or Lock

The backset determines how far the handle sits from the edge of the door. It is measured from the door edge to the centre of the spindle. Common 2½-inch latches and locks generally provide a 44mm backset, while common 3-inch versions generally provide a 57mm backset, although individual product dimensions must always be checked.
